The palate has the blackberry and the deep pure currant, anise and cocoa.. Slghtly angular tannins. Balance, structure and breed. This is a powerhouse that will be sure to please for the next 15 years. The promise is there...the patience will be rewarded. The palate explodes with red fruits of plum, cherries and tar. There is some nice cassis notes present. This is a very elegant & classy wine. A real show-stopper. Pure fruited and extremely clean. Very different from the '04 and the '05. This will set a new high for this rock star wine... (96 pts.)
My first ever 1+ hour after taste. I was still tasting this wine on the bus ride home. My mouth felt like it was coated with glycerin!
